Bruce Trail - Appleby and 401 to Guelph Line near Dundas

  • Dropped off supplies at each point the trail crosses Guelph Line ahead of my run. 2 x 1L bottles of water that I then crunched up and carried in my back pack.
  • Cousin picked me up at parking area on Guelph Line just North of Dundas Street in Burlington and dropped me off at Appleby and 401.
  • First time running Southbound on the trail, had to due to lack of parking at north end.
  • Over a minute faster per km compared to the previous section of Bruce trail (Scenic Dr to G Line)
  • Felt great until Walkers Line and No 2 Side Road, just too hot at the end of an already long day, as demonstrated by this pace/elevation chart.

Toe Box is too narrow. I suffered a number of bruised toes from having limited space/protection in the front end. I like a little bit more than what this model was able to provide. Top fabric eventually began to rip due to in-shoe pressure of my foot. I suspect because the toe box is so narrow. Tucked my laces in the side.
