Bruce Trail - Kimberly Stairs to Scenic Drive
- Felt good the whole time. easy half marathon.
- Not too tech nical, few sets of stairs, lots of waterfalls
- easy parking at base of stairs
Bruce Trail - Appleby and 401 to Guelph Line near Dundas
Dropped off supplies at each point the trail crosses Guelph Line ahead of my run. 2 x 1L bottles of water that I then crunched up and carried in my back pack. Cousin picked me up at parking area on Guelph Line just North of Dundas Street in Burlington and dropped me off at Appleby and 401. First time running Southbound on the trail, had to due to lack of parking at north end. Over a minute faster per km compared to the previous section of Bruce trail ( Scenic Dr to G Line ) Felt great until Walkers Line and No 2 Side Road, just too hot at the end of an already long day, as demonstrated by this pace/elevation chart.
